None verbal communication
Mr. Bean has to be better that the other man. He isn't liking what he see's on the green piece of paper. He is trying to cheat off the man sitting next to him. He is frusterated by the other man not letting him cheat, and he is also sad. He gets kind of upset when he realizes there is another test he could have taken.
He doesn't want the man at the beach to be down there. He realizes the man at the beach is blind.
He is at the church and he is bored. Now he is falling asleep. He fell asleep and now he is all over the man sitting next to him. And he is doing something weird on the floor. He wakes up and almost chokes the old man. He is trying to be quiet while opening a peppermint but he's not. He is also not a good singer. He dropped the peppermint down his shirt and now he is trying to get it.
There is a man playing a saxaphone and he has no money to give him, so he dances for money and then gives it to the saxaphone player. Now he is shopping and he has a credit card. He is walking through the perfume department and is choking to death from the smell. He is going to buy a new toothbrush but trys on before he buys one, and the same for a towel, and for a potato pealer, and for a frying pan. and for a phone. He is trying to pay for his stuff with is card but an old man with the same card took it by mistake. So he trying to switch them out and gets his hand stuck in his pocket and has to follow him all the way to the bathroom.
He is at a resturant and signs a card to himself. Them he realizes he might not have enough money for the resturant. He also explains to the waiter that he is driving. He is very displeased with his food and is trying to get rid of it by hiding it everywhere.

Locker Searches/Personal Searches
I was watching a movie one time, and one set of the movie took place at a high school. As the students entered school, all students, teachers, and visitors had to walk through a metal detector, and get their belongings searched before they could enter. To keep our school out of risk from harm or disasters, there definitely could and should be more actions being taken. I think metal detectors, people set aside to check belongings, and people who are to just watch surveillance videos or walk to halls at all time, are just some of the basic things a school can do to keep the school safe, no matter the price.
There are many advantages concerning saftey issues, by putting metal detectors in schools. I think that there would need to be a detector at every entrance of the school with someone standing there to guard it. The point of the the detectors is to prevent students or other visitors from bringing guns, knifes, or any other outside weapon. "In 1992, the Green Pastures Center in Oklahoma discovered that the number of students bringing weapons to schools declined by more than half in just one year and that violent crimes and criminal trespass dropped by 35 percent." (http://students.ed.uiuc.edu/jkelsey/surveillance/detectors.htm)
Although metal detectors would help tremendously, it wouldn't completly stop the problem. Another problem in schools are drugs, and metal detectors couldn't find those, so thats why I think that there should be people that are allowed to check lockers and personal belongings. It really shouldn't matter to students if somebody checked there belongings if they don't have anything to hide, but it's the students that really have a problem with people checking their stuff that need to have there stuff checked. "Even with all of the questions that surround the rights of students and their privacy when locker searches are conducted, there is still support for them to occur. In a poll of 600 people that was conducted in May of 1999 by Talmey-Drake Research & Strategy of Boulder for the Denver Rocky Mountain News and News4. Periodic locker searches were OK with 69 percent and 47 percent said they favor random searches of students." (Weber, 1999) "By conducting locker searches, the administrators lay the ground work for safer schools. It deters students from bringing contraband and weapons to school." (http://students.ed.uiuc.edu/jkelsey/surveillance/locker.htm)
Surveillance camera's would also be a big help in lowering the violence and drug rates in high schools. Just about all schools have surveillance videos, but I'm not sure if they are using them to there full potential. I think that schools should have people that their job is to watch the surveillance videos or walk the halls at all time, so hopefully they could catch bullying or drug deals in the act, rather than after.
""One of the advantages that proponents of video surveillance claim is peace of mind for students and staff (Green, 1999, Why video cameras?).
Another advantage that can be measured is a reduction in property damages such as vandalism and theft (Ballenas...) ("The witness"...).
Finally, schools using video surveillance claim better behavior because of monitoring. ''Sometimes just the idea in kids' minds that there's a camera recording them keeps them from causing trouble or being difficult" (Gross, as quoted in Baxter, 2003, ¶ 14). "" http://students.ed.uiuc.edu/jkelsey/surveillance/cameras.htm)
Safety is definatly a top priority in all schools, but to me, I just don't think that schools are at the top of their game when it comes to being extremly safe. Metal detectors, people checking personal belongings, and surveillance videos are just three of the many ways that schools can get even better at keeping their school safe.

He thinks his nightmare is over, but I don't think it is, because the truck driver is waiting outside the dinner. He is starting to realize that the truck driver might be in the dinner with him. When trying to help his car gets stuck too. He tryies to get unstuck and see's the truck in the tunnel waiting for him. He gets unstuck and drives away, and the truck helps the bus get going. He's driving and then has to wait for a train. The truck then pulls up behind him and is trying to push him into the train. He gets out of his car and walks to the truck, but the truck takes off, and stops again to wait. He stops a car to try to get them to call the police or take him to the nearest gas station, but the truck driver runs them off. The truck driver says to pass him and go ahead, and the truck follows right behind him. Now the truck is chasing him again. He pulls off the road because he thinks he see's a cop but it really wasn't, so the chase is on again. Finally his radiator hose breaks that the man said he need to get fixed, which allows the truck to catch him. He is freaking out because his car is slowly dying. But he makes it to a hill and is able to pick up some speed. He can't stop so he runs of the road and crashes.

BANNING IPODS???
Who-Schools are trying to ban ipods from students.
What- Shools are trying to ban students from using ipods to prevent them from cheating.
Where- I high schools and some colleges.
When- I present day schools.
Why- Teachers want them banned to keep students from cheating.
I disagree with banning ipods. When students are just doing class work, or the teacher isn't teaching and there is nothing to do, I don't see a reason why students couldn't use them. During tests teachers could just tell the students to put them up, and walk around the class and make sure no students are cheating, like they should be doing anyways. So you teachers should give them a chance but if they abuse their privilege, then the teachers can just take the privilege.

Disasters
In the first story about the earthquake, the other problem besides the earthquake is the looters.
In the second story, people are having a hard time believing that global warming is an actual thing, when the colder temperatures are actually a product of global warming.
In the last story, it is about the storm that hit France, and how it devastated many peoples lives, killed many people, and left people stranded.
The three stories can all be linked in a way that in each story, all people are being effected and it's changing peoples lives.
To me, the most important concept in these stories is global warming. It might seem that it's just made up because of the colder weather, but people need to realize that it is a real thing. It's getting worse year after year, and if people don't start doing anything, we will all DIE.

Book Review
The title of my book is Bad Boy.
By Walter Dean Myers.
Rating: 2 stars
I give it 2 stars because it's hard to get into. When I was reading it I was getting bored, so thats why it gets 2 stars.
Another thing I didn't like about the book is the authors style. He stays in the pasto to long and gets too into it, and thats one reason I got bored with it.
Summary: Walter Dean Myers is a a really smart boy. He loved to read and go to school. But he grew up poor and struggled with bullies for being smart. So to see what he does in life you will have to read the book.
